Albuquerque Advertising Progress Report Time?

Posted: Thursday, March 25th, 2010 in Articles, Feature, Featured, Internet Marketing by: Mike Lemoine

Today my daughter brought home a progress report from school. She was able to show me improvement in areas that need improvement. I was a proud of her. I was happy that we had a way to have measurable progress, to see if the studying she was doing was on the right track. In this case it was.

I then began thinking of local Albuquerque area businesses…..I wondered how many can say they have had measurable results from their marketing. You know real world leads and sales for their marketing dollars. I wondered how many businesses were throwing their money away without ever stopping to think about progress.

As a local business you have the right to question Albuquerque advertisers who are not showing you measurable results with leads and sales. Do not just trust the sales person. If after a period of time you have not seen any real results it may be time to rethink your strategy.

It may be time to sit down and do a progress report for your marketing campaign. Are you seeing progress? Are you on the right track? If not do not spend another dime until you figure out what the problem is! You would not let your child continue to study bad habits that do not make a difference would you? So why would you allow yourself to spend money without results?

We live in an age where a business can utilize their advertising dollars and invest them in long term trackalbe marketing campaigns. Albuquerque businesses should be using the internet to market their product. Internet marketing is not only effective, but it is trackable as well.

The most powerful marketing strategy is the use of web video to help people online know, like, and trust you. Once you get someone to know like and trust they will look to you as the trusted advisor for your product or service. Imagine that instead of you trying to convince people to buy your product or service they were lining up and asking you for it because you were the clear authority online.

Times are changing and so is the way businesses should be spending their marketing dollars. Over 80% of people using the internet to make decisions about a local product or service right here in Albuquerque . People can get information right over their cell phones now. We will continue to see trends in the way local consumers find local businesses. Now is the time for local businesses to position themselves in front of these consumers by showing up online.

Businesses spending money on traditional media (newspapers, TV, radio, magazines) better start asking themselves what they want to their advertising dollars. If they want slick ads that make them look pretty go ahead and keep spending. If you want to keep some money in your business while at the same time seeing real PROGRESS with leads and customers you may want to direct some of your efforts towards the internet.

We are changing the way the game is played in Albuquerque. Using web video we are able to help your business get seen, get noticed and be the clear leader in your industry. Web video is effective and it does not go away at the end of the month like other forms of media do. So why not give web video a try.

Now is the time to give your business a progress report. If it was your child would you be happy with the results?

Mike I just saw your video on you tube and found your website. Great stuff…I would like to do a PSA from the NMPFFA about pulling over to the right and stopping for emergency vehicles.
